Almost Close to Death

The only thing that I go into 2008 sad about is Shiba's health. She's really lagging and getting weaker and weaker as the days go by. I remember when she ran at amazing speeds. Doing things like it was nobody's business. I was so proud. She used to stand tall and proud. After a few hours no movement. Kept her poise through all the long hours of works. Hardly had I to stop and give her time to rest or catch her self. Her energy level was great. Now, she needs support to stay upright. Before 10 minutes she needs some power. It's heart breaking.

Poor Shiba. What am I to really do with her now? She's causing more of a headache now than anything else. It takes more work to get things done. She's dusty and really soon to be on her last breath. What can replace her? Who can replace her?

I've started my search. I mean I love Shiba but sometimes you just have to think about moving forward. I decided not to go with any of her sisters, brothers or cousins. That would be too heart wrenching. So instead I started looking at her competitors. And I decided on her.

The HP tx1000z series. This is no ToSHIBA satellite but it will have to work. Lol!! This ultraportable, lightweight, and powerful new HP Pavilion Notebook PC features a high-definition, diagonal 12.1" BrightView display that opens for standard use or conveniently twists for viewing files and movies in cramped spaces. Cloaked in HP's elegant Imprint finish, it's also packed with other optional features, including a fingerprint reader. yayyyy!!! It also has a versatile, convertible, 12.1" display. The high-definition, spacious display means comfortable viewing that won't strain my eyes. It looks super compact. I have the additional benefit of opening it like a classic notebook, twist it backward for presentations or to save space on a plane, or fold it flat like a slate. There is an option for the screen to be a touchscreen and used with the included stylus (which stows on the notebook) so I can easily add writing to onscreen content.Drawings and illustrations could also be done. (Not that I can draw to save my life.) The advantage of touchscreen is tapping the icons, file menus, and doing limited handwriting. YAAYYY!!

But Imma wait till Shiba is much closer to her death. (Say... two months). I'm sure the change over for me won't be that tragic for too long. I mean how long can you be sad with new electronics around.?
